Elvis Time. Big Time

Of course the main event was Graceland. It might be overtly commercialized but it's still the best place to OD on the King.

Here's my folks in the mansion getting their audio tour. We did the whole enchilada. House, cars, planes, and visited every gift shop.

Couldn't help but feel sorry for the people who live to the side of Graceland. Fancy having a cook out on a sunny day and seeing a 1,000 people the other side of your fence walking around in zombie mode with the silly headphones attached.

Later in the afternoon we went around Sun Studio. Ghosts of music past prevail. The tour is a good intro to the early conversion of delta blues to white rock n roll. And in the coffee shop next door? They do awesome malt shakes!
